I came across this album a couple years back when I was going through some major personal and also family related grievances. The songs struck an absolutely spot on chord with my feelings at the time, and those feelings strengthened even further when I found out that they were made during a time of grief for the artist too.
I still love these songs and frequently revisit them. They're bittersweet but so meaningful in their own way. They're raw in the best way possible, and the vocals on the tracks are so hauntingly beautiful.
Favorite track: Scary All Over.
